The Turnaround Scheduling Lead at Cenovus Energy plays a vital role at our Toledo Refinery. This position oversees all scheduling tasks, from development to reporting and benchmarking. You will work closely with Projects and / or Turnaround (TAR) Planning and Contractor Scheduling Resources to guarantee smooth operations. We seek a proactive individual with a strong focus on performance and adept at solving problems.

What you'll do :

• Develop, maintain, and optimize integrated project and TAR schedules using Primavera, ensuring alignment with CVE standards and critical path methodology.
• Act as the primary scheduling contact for assigned projects, leading planning sessions and coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, and cost teams.
• Monitor schedule performance, track key milestones, and ensure alignment with project objectives and KPIs.
• Generate accurate schedule reports and earned value analyses using CVE systems and contractor data to support decision-making.
• Review contractor schedules for accuracy and validate field progress through quantity tracking and performance analysis.
• Manage schedule-related risks, changes, and uncertainties, providing strategic options and recommendations to the project team.
• Maintain scheduling policies, tools, templates, and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and stage-gated processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, support project closeout activities, and lead lessons learned efforts.
