Avera McKennan Hospitalist Group Overview :

• Contracted for 14 twelve-hour shifts per month. As part of the hospitalist service, the physician group covers at Avera McKennan (tertiary care at main hospital) and Avera Specialty Hospital - both located in Sioux Falls
• Blocked scheduling with flexibility to allow for quality of life
• Total EMR for longitudinal care, EMR transition to EPIC June of 2026
• Seasoned Advanced Practice Provider support
• Open ICU with collaborative coverage with Intensivists
• Strong support of sub-specialists to complement the team approach to patient care
• Opportunity to teach residents
• Established Nocturnist program
