Our Client, a nationally recognized luxury home design-build firm, is looking for an experienced  Construction Estimator  to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to play a critical role in the pre-construction process by coordinating the bidding process, preparing proposals, and delivering precise cost estimates for custom residential projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop preliminary cost estimates and establish budget expectations during the pre-construction phase
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Architecture to align design features with client budgetary goals
  • Maintain and analyze project cost data to enhance estimation accuracy
  • Manage the competitive bidding process, including soliciting and reviewing subcontractor and vendor quotes for accuracy and fairness
  • Oversee subcontractor and vendor negotiations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value engineering to meet budgetary and profitability objectives
  • Prepare and present detailed project proposals through the company’s online project management system, ensuring internal approvals from executive leadership
  • Engage in follow-up discussions with clients to clarify proposals, answer questions, and refine pricing to support contract execution
  • Partner with the Vice Presidents of Construction and Operations to cultivate strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors
  • Lead project purchasing activities, ensuring alignment with quality, scheduling, and profitability targets
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the success of high-end residential projects

    • What We’re Looking For :

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a sharp attention to detail
  • Minimum 3 years of experience  in construction estimating or construction management (custom residential experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of construction cost accounting, risk analysis, research methodologies, and estimation metrics
  • Exceptional time management, project management, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software and project management tools is a plus
