Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to a team of engineers and technical staff, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within quality expectations.
- Oversee the design and development of control panels, renewable energy protection systems, and power distribution configurations, with strict adherence to UL and ISO standards.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams (production, quality, and sales) to interpret specifications and convert requirements into practical, manufacturable designs.
- Prepare and review CAD drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and related documentation for both proposals and final builds.
- Balance individual design responsibilities with team management duties.
- Promote continuous improvement in design practices, tools, and methods to drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
- Ensure complete and accurate technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and BOMs.
- Lead technical reviews, risk assessments, and design validation throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Manage resources, priorities, and schedules to support company objectives and customer needs.
- Support testing and quality processes to confirm products meet safety, performance, and compliance requirements.

The Successful Applicant
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (Master's preferred).7+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing setting, including 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.Solid understanding of NEC codes as well as UL508A, UL891, UL687A, UL98B, and ISO9001 standards.Proven expertise in automation control system design and / or renewable energy electrical systems.Proficiency with electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.Experience with Allen Bradley / Rockwell automation products preferred.Familiarity with data center electrical infrastructure is a plus.Knowledge of ERP / MRP systems such as EPICOR is desirable.What's on Offer
