Internal Medicine Physician

MedCare Staffing is seeking a Primary Care Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity starting within the next 30 days.

Setting : 100% Outpatient

Schedule & Practice Details :

• Monday through Friday schedule
• Focus on geriatric patient population
• patients per day
• Established patient panel
• Supported by a dedicated clinical team
• EMR training provided

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver patient-centered care to older adults managing both chronic and acute conditions

Follow clinical guidelines and maintain compliance with regulatory standards (HIPAA, CLIA, etc.)

Participate in all aspects of patient care : assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and education

Complete EMR documentation within 48 hours of each encounter

Coordinate care with hospital teams when applicable

Maintain a commitment to clinical excellence and professional standards

Requirements :

Updated CV

Active Oklahoma medical license

BLS certification

2 3 professional references

Valid DEA

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine

Familiarity with Medicare Advantage plans preferred
