Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Tech

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Tech in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication to everyone on site. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to incidents as needed, all while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Pay Rate : $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Wed 11 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM

Thur 11 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM

Fri 11 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM

Sat 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sun 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential threats. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, particularly in tech, media, and telecom settings.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity during patrols to support a secure environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members while on patrol.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points during patrols as required by site policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
