• Work on 36-bed neurosciences unit on 6th floor A Tower
• Patient ratios : 5 : 1, 6 : 1 stretch on day shift; 7 : 1 stretch on night shift
• Every other weekend required
• Float to other medical surgical floors as needed
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, 3 CNAs, and 1 HUC
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1 HUC
• Work with standard medical surgical equipment
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Perform typical procedures including Foley insertion and IV starts
• Required certifications : ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale
• Neuroscience experience preferred
• Must wear navy blue scrubs
• New staff reference book provided at start of contract
