Description :

Join our dynamic psychiatry team in an adult care environment.

This unit serves patients with a variety of diagnoses including depression, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders.

The unit comprises 28 beds, featuring a distinct area for acute patients.

Staff are expected to maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 : 6.

Charting is conducted using Meditech software.

Scrub color will be specified by the facility.

Nurses may be required to float within their skill set in areas such as adult psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and child / adolescent psychiatry.

Special procedures may include ECT.

Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.
