RecruitWell is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage in Longview, WA. This opportunity offers a mix of inpatient consults, rounding, and ACU procedures with flexible scheduling through the end of 2025 (potentially extending into 2026).

Position Highlights

• Current Coverage Dates Needed : - 9 / 2 - 9 / 8- 10 / 1 - 10 / 13- 11 / 21 - 12 / 1- 12 / 12 - 12 / 15- 12 / 22 - 1 / 1
• Orientation : 8 / 29 (start 9 / 2)
• Schedule : - Monday-Friday ACU (8a-5p)- Night shifts : 7p-7a (5 shifts available)- 24-hour call (8a-8a) as scheduled
• Duration : Coverage needed through end of 2025, possible extension through June 2026
• Setting : Inpatient and ACU procedures
• Privileges : Both clinic and hospital
• Inpatient Beds : 129-136
• Call : 24-hour unrestricted call (consults, rounding, add-on ACU cases)
• Team : 2 other GI providers, hospitalists, and 2 APPs
• Patient Demographics : Adults
• Average Patient Load : 12-14 per day
• EMR : Epic (proficiency required)
• Expedited Credentialing : 30 days (must have active WA license at submission)
• Reason for Need : Gap in coverage
