job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMost current Minimum Qualifications for Faculty in California Community Colleges : Any Bachelor's degree or higher AND two years of professional experience OR any Associate's degree AND six years of professional experience. (Academic Affairs Division, California Community Colleges) Antelope Valley College Equivalency : No Antelope Valley College Equivalency Application Current resume Letter of intent addressing minimum and desirable qualifications Scanned copy of official transcripts with required degree(s). Foreign transcripts and degrees require official certification of equivalency to U.S. transcripts and degrees by a certified U.S. review service at the time of application and must identify graduate-level coursework. Two (2) current letters of professional reference signed and dated within the last year. Each recruitment is conducted independently; separate complete applications are required for each position. Applicants may be subject to passing an examination (written / technical), as appropriate. Residency within a reasonable geographical area of the college may be necessary. Travel expenses for interviews and employment processing will not be reimbursed.
Antelope Valley College invites applications for our adjunct (temporary, part-time) faculty applicant pool for the Real Estate Instructor discipline.
Representative Duties
- Instruct students in the assigned discipline.
- Assignments may include teaching courses during the day, evening, online courses, and / or at off-campus sites.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicant must meet one of the following :

Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students (Assembly Bill 1725; Education Code 87360).
