Job Title : Shipping Clerk - 2nd Shift

Job Description

The Materials Associate is responsible for the receipt, warehousing, and issuance of materials and components to support the production of small drones. This role involves processing shipping and receiving, preparing products for freight shipments, and assisting the Shipping & Receiving Manager with accurate shipment processing. The associate will collaborate with inventory and purchasing groups to manage material consumption, replenishment, and storage, focusing on key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, part quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Process shipping and receiving operations and prepare products for freight shipments.
• Assist the Shipping & Receiving Manager with accurate shipment processing.
• Collaborate with inventory and purchasing groups to manage material consumption, replenishment, and storage.
• Focus on key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, part quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure production components are transferred to inventory and placed in discrete storage locations in a timely manner.
• Maintain material traceability, inventory locations, and accuracy.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, relaxed, and clean warehouse environment. The shift hours are 4 PM to 2 AM, Monday through Thursday. Overtime is expected.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00 / hr.
