ECMO Specialist
Full-Time | Greater Washington, D.C. Area
Salary : $89,000–$128,000 / year + Bonuses
Overview :
We are seeking an experienced ECMO Specialist to provide bedside support for patients undergoing Extracorporeal Life Support (ECLS) within hospital partner facilities. This is a full-time opportunity with a growing, mission-driven team focused on delivering exceptional critical care and advancing ECMO practice through evidence-based training and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities :
Deliver high-quality, bedside ECMO care to patients of all agesCollaborate with medical teams on ECLS and mechanical circulatory support (MCS) protocolsParticipate in continuing education and professional development through in-house programsSupport ECMO transports and adapt to various institutional needs and equipment platformsRequirements :
Minimum 1 year of direct ECMO experienceBachelor’s degree preferred; Associate degree with 2–3 years of experience consideredActive, unencumbered license (RN, RRT, or CCP)Current AHA BLS and ACLS certificationsStrong interpersonal and problem-solving skills under pressurePhysical Requirements :
Must be able to stand, walk, and communicate effectively for extended periodsMust be able to lift / move up to 50 lbs and assist in repositioning patients of any sizeRequirements
Requirements :
