Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Location : Franklin, Indiana (zip 46131) – Easy access to Indianapolis

Unit : Labor and Delivery (L&D), Level 1 nursery

Duration : 13-week contract (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026)

Shifts : 12-hour night shifts (6p-6a), 3 shifts per week

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Charting System : Cerner Millennium

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in Indiana or compact state (required for Indiana nursing jobs)

Minimum 3 years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience

Previous travel nursing experience required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring

Proficient in all L&D roles : labor, delivery, postpartum, and recovery

Ability to float within the Labor and Delivery unit as needed

Labor and Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a Level 1 nursery

Manage all phases of labor, delivery, postpartum, and recovery in a suite-based setting

Assist with gynecological patients and procedures as needed

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Document patient care accurately using Cerner Millennium

Support approximately 30-40 deliveries per month
