Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Rehabilitation Nursing Specialist, you will provide direct patient care and work within the Registered Nurse Practice Act. Through therapeutic communication and a safe environment, you will assess, plan, and evaluate care based on individual patient needs.

Responsibilities :

Assess, plan, and evaluate patients' care needs while executing physician orders.

Administer medications, manage wound care, and monitor vital signs.

Document and communicate patient conditions appropriately using electronic systems.

Educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary care team.

Qualifications :

Registered Nurse from an accredited nursing program.

Current licensure with the Tennessee Board of Nursing.

Current BLS certification.

ACLS certification within six months of hire.

One year of clinical nursing experience is preferred.
