Responsibilities :
As a Field Service Technician, your main responsibilities will include :
1. Providing exceptional customer service by responding promptly to service calls, diagnosing problems, and performing necessary repairs.
2. Conducting routine preventive maintenance checks and services on equipment to maintain optimal performance.
3. Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues with manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining high-quality output.
4. Offering technical support and guidance to customers, explaining complex technical issues in a clear and understandable manner.
5. Maintaining strong customer relationships through regular communication and excellent service.
6. Keeping detailed records of services performed, parts used, and repairs conducted.
7. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field, and applying this knowledge to your work.
8. Collaborating with the broader team to share knowledge, solve problems, and improve processes.
Qualifications :
To be considered for this role, you should have :
1. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in troubleshooting, technical support, customer service, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance.
3. Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with a solid understanding of manufacturing equipment.
4. Excellent diagnostic abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
5. Superior customer service skills, with a knack for building strong customer relationships.
6. A technical qualification in a related field would be advantageous.
7. Must be able to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and understandable manner.
9. A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
10. The ability to work safely and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
