Provides regularly scheduled pickups and deliveries at physician offices, hospital entities and affiliates, the post office, local banks and other sites as requested.

Provides delivery and pick up of all equipment, supplies and patients to and from physician offices, hospital entities and affiliates, the post office, local banks and other sites as requested.

Delivery Service Vehicle Operation

• Operates hospital vehicle to deliver patients, specimens, supplies, mail, bank materials, meals, linens and other materials in a manner consistent with departmental policies, procedures, standards, and benchmarks.
• Maintains basic vehicle fluid levels such as gasoline, oil, water, and coolant; refill as needed.
• Maintains clean interior and exterior of vehicle
• Checks mechanical and safety items such as lights, mirrors, tires, brakes and wipers for defects.
• Performs minor vehicle repairs and advises Manager of major repairs when needed.
• Maintains vehicle maintenance log of daily activities and submits data to Manager for reporting purposes.
