job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDeliver professional nursing care to patients in the Pre-Op and PACU setting in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Perform preoperative assessments , including patient education, surgical preparation, and verification of medical history. Provide post-anesthesia recovery care , including monitoring vital signs, pain management, airway support, and safe transfer to the next phase of care. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care . Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record. Support and educate patients and families, addressing questions and providing reassurance throughout the perioperative process. Current, unencumbered RN license in Georgia (or compact state license). Minimum 1 year of RN experience (preferably in Pre-Op, PACU, ICU, or ED). BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS preferred (or must obtain within 6 months).
