Infectious Disease Physician

Dates Needed : Monday, August 18 Sunday, August 24, 2025

Shift : 8 hours / day (flexible start time; typical 8 4 or 9 5)

Setting : Acute Care Academic Hospital (300 beds including Behavioral Health and Maternity; 125 true Med / Surg beds)

EMR : Meditech (legacy version)

Opportunity Highlights :

Academic environment with resident presence GME / teaching experience preferred

Provide inpatient consultative services; all adult patients

Consults may come from inpatient units or ED

Approx. 20 new consults per week per provider, with a census of 20 patients

Collaborate with employed physicians and private attendings

Supervise and support night shift coverage

Emergency credentialing available in 1 day

Requirements :

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

Active NY license

Comfortable working in an academic teaching environment

Must be available to cover full week if possible
