As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible at a prominent retail location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will spend much of your time on patrol in a vehicle, responding to situations and supporting a welcoming environment. Mon 11 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 AM

Tue 11 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 AM

Sun 11 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures.

Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with incident response as directed.

Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and / or irregularities encountered during patrols.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
