job_description.job_card.job_descriptionReview construction plans and project specifications. Collaborate with Sales, Estimating, Production, and Engineering teams to support project planning and execution. Serve as a key contributor within the Engineering department, which provides technical support to over 65 precast concrete manufacturing facilities across the U.S. Design a variety of precast concrete products, including pipes, manholes, and custom structures in accordance with applicable specifications and standards. Prepare structural calculations, fabrication / shop drawings, and cost estimates. Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. Engage with contractors, agency representatives, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams throughout project life cycles. Attend project meetings and conference calls as needed. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Ability and intent to obtain a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license within a few years of hire. Prior experience or coursework in precast concrete, structural engineering, or state DOT and water / wastewater infrastructure projects is preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills; Spanish language proficiency is a plus. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple, concurrent project deadlines. Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and coordinate with various stakeholders. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving and error prevention. Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across organizational levels. Strong organizational and time-management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative mindset. The process is simple.
