Overview

As one of our highly skilled freelance sales associates (that provides either make-up application; skin care advice, hair or fragrance consultations) you will combine your creative and technical expertise and passion for people to provide a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience which educates and delights our customers.

You will also like working as part of a high performing team to create impact with in-store events and to ensure that the store always achieves our high standards of visual merchandising to stand out against our competitors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide make-up application; skin care advice, hair or fragrance consultations as part of freelance sales
  • Deliver a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers
  • Work as part of a high performing team to support in-store events
  • Help ensure the store meets visual merchandising standards to stand out against competitors

Qualifications

  • Certification in makeup artistry and / or prior retail makeup experience is desirable; applicants with beginner-level expertise are welcome
  • Expertise in fragrance, skincare, and hair consultation is highly valued; willingness to develop skills in these areas is encouraged
  • Strong belief in diversity of thought and people; commitment to exceptional training and development opportunities
  • Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
  • Retail experience is preferred, but amateur level experience with demonstrated creativity and technical skill is acceptable
  • Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
