Job Description

A day in the life

You start your morning on 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, reviewing setup sheets and staging molds and auxiliary equipment. You plan the changeover, bring the right tools to the press, and complete a clean, precise setup. Once the press is running, you watch cycle times and quality checks, making minor adjustments to molds and presses so parts come out exactly to spec. When something isn’t performing, you collaborate with production and maintenance to troubleshoot quickly and minimize downtime. Throughout the day, you keep your work area spotless and follow every safety protocol.

Schedule & pay

1st Shift, Monday–Friday
$18–$22 per hour, based on experience
Contract-to-hire : conversion depends on attendance, performance, and client needs

What you will handle

Set up and change over plastic injection molds and auxiliary equipment

Keep machines running efficiently while producing high-quality parts

Perform minor troubleshooting and adjustments to molds and presses

Partner with production and maintenance to reduce downtime

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

What you bring

Previous die or mold setting experience in a plastic injection molding environment

Ability to read and follow setup sheets and work instructions

Strong mechanical aptitude with sharp attention to detail

Reliable attendance and a team-first mindset

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
