MedCadre is seeking a LPN / LVN Behavioral Health for a travel job in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Location : Rio Rancho, NM

Job Duration : 8 Weeks

Shift : Day 3x12 and Night 3x12 both available

Blended Pay :  $38 - $44p / h

Start Date : Two weeks from the date of position offered.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to deliver essential nursing services to patients of all ages.

Duties

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct patient assessments and document vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Perform routine medical procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, and specimen collection.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective communication.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and post-discharge instructions.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to infection control protocols.

    • Facility Requirements

    Minimum 1-2 years of LPN  exp required.

    BLS & LPN License
