Summary :

The Inside Sales Rep role with Metal Sales provides an opportunity to learn about the metal manufacturing industry while working alongside our Territory Sales Managers and other branch personnel.

Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation is the nation’s largest manufacturer of metal roofing and building systems with 21 locations across America. This position engages with our customer base in a sales activity driven role. The role is based in our Temple Texas branch and supports customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. At times, outside sales activities will be required.

The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial attitude, the ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing environment, strong communication skills, be proficient at regularly turning quotes into sales, and promoting / supporting our online ordering platform. Opportunities to grow into an outside territory sales position are available for interested and qualified Sales Associates.

You’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) :

• Driving the adoption and ongoing promotion of our online ordering platform. This includes customer identification, support and training, marketing, and overall strategy.
• Managing the follow-up on all branch sales quotes to improve closing ratios.
• Being the primary contact for a dedicated customer list and performing various inside sales activities such as calls, appointments, customer service etc.
• Recording sales activities in our CRM system.
• Soliciting new customers and partnering with Territory Sales Managers to improve contacts among key and target customers.
