Overview

Behavioral Specialist - Licensed / Limited Licensed Psychologist - PART TIME

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement behavioral assessments and positive behavioral support plans and programming.
  • Arrange and / or provide psychological assessments and testing.
  • Provide training and supervision of Behavior Management Plans for direct care workforce, case managers, and persons served.
  • Provide environmental and behavioral analysis for persons served in residential or community housing programs.
  • Attend Person Centered Planning (PCP) meetings as the Behavioral Specialist.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive behavioral approaches to promote mental wellness, reduce mental health / behavioral issues, develop new skills, and provide the workforce with consistent, positive approaches.
  • Train residential / community housing staff in the implementation and documentation of behavior programs.
  • Monitor Behavior Treatment Plan goals and behavioral programs.
  • Liaise with the Behavioral Management Committee (BMC) of the referring agency and coordinate services among providers and referral sources.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited university in psychology.
  • Licensed or Limited Licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Michigan required.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) preferred.
  • Three (3) years prior employment experience in a human service area including behavioral analysis.
  • Valid Michigan Driver's License.
