Description :

The Fill Technician I prepares, counts, labels, packages, and dispenses pharmaceuticals for Pharmacist’s approval under the supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist. The Fill Technician also assumes responsibilities involving receiving, preparing, and putting away inventory deliveries.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) year previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Previous pharmacy or a health care setting experience preferred.
• Ability and willingness to successfully complete a pharmacy technician certification program within (1) year of practical experience.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, establish priorities, and be flexible and accurate.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Possess and obtain knowledge of drug names- generic and trade. Ability to recognize subtle differences in names and numbers.
• Ability to communicate and interact with all operating departments within the pharmacy.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Other education / vocational requirements as determined by management.
• Pass background check before and during employment, as defined by Superior Rx background check policy.
