An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for a Hospitalist in the beautiful area near Plains, Montana . This assignment offers a chance to work in an inpatient setting providing care to both adults and pediatric patients, including newborns. The position involves scheduled clinical hours with night call coverage. • Shift Structure

12-hour day shifts for adult care and night call coverage for pediatrics and newborns

• Call Type

Beeper call; response time required within 20 minutes

• Patients Per Shift

6-12 patients

• Inpatient Focus

Covering adults, pediatric patients, and newborns

• Rounding

Assigned patients

Required Skills & Experience

• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Internal Medicine / Pediatrics (IM / PED)
• Recent experience (within the last 3 years) with pediatric and newborn patients in a hospitalist setting
• Ability to provide care for both adults and pediatric populations, including attending C-sections and high-risk deliveries
• Proficient in procedures such as intubation, ventilation management, and central line placement
• Experience with PICU and Nursery Levels I & II
• Pediatric ventilation management (acute and chronic)

Certifications Required

• NRP BLS ACLS , and PALS

2 RNs, additional medical assistants, and advanced practice providers
