We are seeking a skilled and versatile Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and possess a diverse range of skills, including electrical and mechanical repairs, fabrication, and residential painting.

Duties

The Technician will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. This will include tasks such as :

• Reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues
• Performing repairs and maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, including welds and fabrications as needed
• Conducting residential painting projects to ensure our facilities are well-maintained and visually appealing
• Utilizing CMMS software to track and manage maintenance schedules and tasks
• Collaborating with other members of the facilities maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance practices
• Supervising junior technicians and providing guidance and training as needed

Experience

The successful candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and possess a diverse range of skills. This includes :

Experience with electrical and mechanical systems, including the ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints

Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques

Experience with residential painting projects

Familiarity with CMMS software

Experience supervising junior technicians and providing guidance and training as needed

Skills

Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures

Experience with electrical and mechanical systems

Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints

Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques

Experience with residential painting projects

Familiarity with CMMS software

Excellent communication and supervisory skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and ability to work safely

Proficiency in English
