Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Full-time | Remote (US)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help define and scale the backbone of an AI-driven healthcare platform that serves hundreds of thousands of patients.

This is a high-impact role with broad ownership over infrastructure design, scalability, reliability, and developer experience.

You’ll play a key part in ensuring systems remain fast, secure, and highly available as the company grows.

Ideal candidates thrive in fast-moving, high-ownership environments and have a strong track record of building reliable systems that scale under real-world demand.

What You’ll Do

  • Scale and Optimize Infrastructure : Design, deploy, and maintain systems that support large-scale healthcare operations with 99.99% uptime.
  • Lead Core Infrastructure Investments : Balance immediate delivery with long-term architecture, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
  • Build Data Systems : Drive development of robust data infrastructure — from ingestion pipelines and transformation layers to warehouse systems and client integrations.
  • Enhance Developer Velocity : Improve CI / CD pipelines, observability, and tooling to help engineering teams move faster with confidence.
  • Champion Reliability and Security : Implement monitoring, on-call best practices, and infrastructure security aligned with HIPAA and SOC 2 standards.

Example Projects

  • Optimize Kubernetes clusters and services for rapidly scaling workloads.
  • Lead the migration of SQS-based workflows to Temporal .
  • Reimagine release operations to streamline QA-tested code deployments.
  • Design and implement multi-tenant isolation and row-level encryption for sensitive client data.

    • Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience building and managing large-scale infrastructure systems.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS , Kubernetes , and Terraform .
  • Strong background in distributed systems, observability, and infrastructure automation.
  • Familiarity with Postgres , Redis , and Node.js environments.
  • Passionate about operational excellence, developer productivity, and secure system design.
  • Comfortable owning projects end-to-end in fast-paced, early-stage environments.

  • Salary : $160K–$225K
