job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBuild and maintain detailed financial models using advanced Excel techniques (macros, sensitivity, scenario analysis) Support company benchmarking, cohort analysis, and KPI tracking using analytical and AI tools. Help prepare high-quality investment memos and presentations in PowerPoint for internal and LP audience Leverage AI and BI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Tableau, Notion AI, Excel plugins) to enhance productivity and insights Support portfolio companies with ad hoc analytics and internal reporting dashboards Build and maintain dashboards to track progress, measure impact, and provide project management visibility across key initiatives. Manage and optimize internal systems for deal flow tracking and market intelligence (e.g., Affinity, Airtable) Develop materials (primarily in PowerPoint) that showcase integrated and “better-together” value propositions, both across portfolio companies and between portfolio companies and strategic partners. Support platform and value creation efforts by tracking investment team activities in the firm’s CRM (Affinity) and working with the operations team to ensure portfolio introductions, investor outreach, and outcomes achieved are properly logged. Assist with materials, data entry and tracking related to strategic investment, M&A syndicates, including illustrating joint value between strategic investors, potential acquirers and portfolio companies. Lead content creation for internal meetings like portfolio reviews, staff meetings, etc. Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 0–2 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or consulting (internships acceptable) Highly proficient in PowerPoint with a strong sense of visual communication and storyboarding Experience using AI tools for analysis, writing, or productivity (e.g., ChatGPT, Excel Copilot, Notion AI) Working knowledge of financial statements and valuation methods Strong interest in venture capital, entrepreneurship, and technology trends Resourceful and detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments Able to take direction from multiple team members and leaders Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Exposure to platforms like PitchBook, CapIQ, CB Insights, or similar Programming experience or BI tool experience (e.g., Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus

ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly analytical, tech-savvy Analyst to join our investment team and work closely with our platform team initiatives. This early career position is ideal for individuals with strong technical skills, an interest in startups and growth investing, and experience using modern data and AI tools. You will play a critical role in evaluating investment opportunities, supporting diligence efforts, our NightScale platform initiatives and driving analytical projects across the firm.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Market & Deal Research
- Conduct deep thematic research using AI-assisted and traditional methods
- Build market maps and analyze competitive landscapes across target sectors
- Identify promising companies through data scraping, outbound outreach, and intelligence platforms.
