Description : SUMMARY
The Information Technology Manager is responsible for overseeing Grillo’s Pickles technology infrastructure, with a dual focus on IT systems and network operations within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures secure, efficient, and scalable systems—spanning hardware, software, ERP platforms, and networking technologies—are in place to support business objectives and operational excellence. This is an individual contributor role with cross-functional responsibilities and reports to the General Manager of Grillo’s Midwest. The IT Manager is responsible for both the Grillo’s Midwest site as well as the Boston headquarters.
The Manager plays a hands-on role in managing core platforms such as Cisco, Fortinet, NetSuite ERP, and EDI systems. They collaborate cross-functionally to deliver technology solutions, address complex network and system challenges, and enhance productivity across both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments. While empowered to make routine decisions independently, the Manager escalates critical or strategic decisions to leadership as appropriate.
This position is vital to maintaining business continuity, data integrity, cybersecurity posture, and overall system performance across the enterprise.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure Grillo’s Pickles Midwest IT and network infrastructure, is secure, efficient, and optimized for business success, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems.
- Develop and implement a scalable network architecture roadmap for ERP, MES, & IT / OT environments.
- Develop and manage vendor accounts / access to internal networks and infrastructure.
- Assist and deploy network security firewalls, VPNs, & cybersecurity protocols to ensure the protection and reliability of Grillo’s Pickles.
- Handle network administration tasks, including backup, security management, user account management, and expansion as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide solutions that support business objectives, helping train staff on new systems and tools and how to use them effectively.
- Support the research, analysis, and implementation of new technology to support growth and efficiency throughout the organization.
- Implement and manage data governance policies to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and enhance NetSuite ERP functionality, troubleshooting issues, optimizing workflows, and ensuring seamless system performance.
- Lead EDI integration, including onboarding and testing EDI documents such as Purchase Orders (850), Invoices (810), and Advanced Shipment Notices (856).
- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect Grillo’s Pickles IT infrastructure and data, training employees on best practices and incident reporting procedures.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware, software, and data assets, including their versions and configurations.
- Manage technology budgets and report KPIs related to system uptime, performance, and security.
- Develop documentation for system / network configurations, standard operating procedures, and support logs.
- Support the convergence of IT and OT environments using tools such as Cisco Cyber Vision, with an emphasis on security and reliability in manufacturing systems.
- Provide support for Office 365, Active Directory, WebEx Cloud, and routine cloud service management.
- Ensure data governance, integrity, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., PCI DSS, PII, GMP).
- Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of this role.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in an IT role, or similar management experience required.Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP, and cloud-based platforms.Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE, or NetSuite Administrator are a plus.Experience supporting Operational Technology (OT) networks preferred.Experience with VLANs, WAN, LAN, WIFI, RDS Protocol, Automation Integration.Familiarity with building, deploying, and maintaining the Purdue Model.Senior IT or network administration role, with manufacturing or warehouse fulfillment environment, including familiarity with EDI.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE)
Proficient in Office 365 administration and support.Proven problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.Strong belief that technology should support people and make their lives simpler.Eagerness to stay up-to-date with new technology and make recommendations as appropriate.Potential travel up to 25% of the time.PHYSICAL DEMANDS

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is an on-site position based in Taylorsville, IN, with occasional travel to the Boston headquarters. Hybrid flexibility may be considered based on business needs. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to production equipment, wet and refrigerated areas, and food ingredients. Position requires use of PPE, and frequent walking, standing, and occasional lifting.
