Program Overview

Our Underground Mining Internship is designed for college students who want to explore a career in the mining industry. This program provides real-world, hands-on experience working underground while building a foundation in safe, productive mining practices .

Interns will gain exposure to :

Safety & Compliance : Full MSHA Part 48 New Miner Training, hazard recognition, and accident prevention.

Mining Operations : Understanding production cycles, equipment, and shift work.

Equipment & Maintenance Support : Assisting with inspections, upkeep, and troubleshooting.

Teamwork in Action : Learning how crews coordinate to keep the mine running safely and efficiently.
