About The Position

Job Title : Surgical Tech 2

Profession : Surgical Technologist

Specialty : -

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Mid shift

Hours per Shift : Approx. 10 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM plus call

Experience : Two years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist

License : High School / GED and one of the following :

• Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program.
• Completion of a Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist.
• Completion of an Apprentice II Program.
• Ten or more years of experience as a Surgical Tech.

Certifications : American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent.

Must-Have : Demonstrates a higher level of collaboration with peers in making decisions related to surgical patient care.

Description :

As a member of the healthcare team, you will collaborate with the surgical team to provide care for patients.

You will ensure that the goals of the patients are met.

You will contribute to the mission of the organization.

You will perform procedures in a variety of specialties requiring knowledge and skills.

Other duties will be assigned as needed.
