The role includes conducting consultations, managing inpatient care, and overseeing a team of nurse practitioners. The position requires board certification and involves a structured schedule with call rotations, adhering to strict documentation and patient care standards.

Coverage Needed

  • April 14, 2025 - ongoing

Schedule

  • Clinic 4 / 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday with Friday as an admin day

    • 8am-5pm

  • Call rotation within providers and call rotation with providing back up to the 4 APPs during their rotation
  • Shifts per month : 20

    • Clinical Details

  • Clinic : 18-20 patients daily
  • Hospital : 10-12 patients daily
  • Inpatient + Clinic
  • Trauma : Level III
  • Number Physicians in Practice : 3
  • Number of Beds : 220
  • Operating Rooms : 12
  • ER Beds : 26
  • Hospital based : 20%, Clinic Based : 80%
  • Patient Population : Adult
  • Most patients are sent to IR unless provider is comfortable performing

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (Certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency)
  • BLS, ACLS
  • Active IN License or IMLC
  • Minimum Years Experience : More than 2 years
  • Flu vaccination : Required or Need Medical or religious exemption
  • Patient Contacts / Procedure Logs : require most recent 24-months

    • Call

  • On call includes consults on the hospital side as well rounding on hospital side when on call if needed

    • Support Staff

  • 4 NPs

    • EMR
