$2,000 to $2,001 per day

About The Position

8 shifts, 24 hours each : Dec 24 (7 AM) – Jan 1 (7 AM)

Rate : $2,000 per 24-hour shift + $300 per callback hour

Estimated total earnings for the period : $16,000–$20,000

Job Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible – General Surgery REQUIRED

Must hold or be willing to obtain Arkansas medical license

Current ACLS & BLS certifications

Clean malpractice preferred

Availability confirmed at time of name clear

Hospital rounding and call coverage

Surgical procedures include : Gallbladder, Hernias, Colorectal, Surgical Oncology, Endocrine, Endoscopy, Laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures

Must cover both upper & lower endoscopy

Trauma coverage includes some vascular repair ; hospital is Level II Trauma Center

EPIC EMR; ~40 patients / day with support from 3 APPs

Additional Info :

Weekend and holiday coverage required

PA / NP support available but first-assist not required

Credentialing timeframe : ~2 weeks

Note : This coverage is for the holiday period only. Candidates must be able to work all shifts and have or obtain an Arkansas license.
