About the IAR and College Analytics Team

The Institutional Analytics and Research (IAR) team partners across the university to turn data into better outcomes for students. Within IAR, the College Analytics team supports academic leaders with high-impact insights, predictive models, and strategic planning tools. Our focus areas include :

• Closed Loop Analytics : Helping teams plan, execute, and evaluate initiatives using data-informed tools.
• Driver Analytics : Identifying the key levers that influence student success.
• Targets & Trajectories : Defining measurable goals and long-term outcomes for academic planning.

The Role : Senior Data Analyst

As a Senior Data Analyst on the College Analytics team, you'll be part detective, part storyteller, and part strategist. You'll work closely with partners across IAR, academic leadership, Data Engineering, Product, Finance, and EdTech to turn complex datasets into actionable insights. Whether you're answering high-stakes questions, building compelling data visualizations, or shaping analytics strategy, your work will help WGU stay student-focused and data-driven.

Position & Application Details
