Protocol & Events Manager
You will be the Protocol & Events Manager for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for leading high-performing teams in strategy, planning, and execution of high-visibility customer engagements, executive visits, ceremonies, internal recognition events, and executive-level events across multiple MFC sites.
As the Protocol & Events Manager, you will be responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences that reflect Lockheed Martin's values, capabilities, and mission. You will lead, mentor, and develop the Protocol and Customer Engagement team across multiple locations, overseeing the execution of VIP visits, customer engagements, ceremonies, and special internal and external events. Your responsibilities will include :

- Develop and drive engagement strategies in alignment with enterprise and MFC priorities.
- Serve as an advisor to senior leadership on protocol standards, international and domestic customs, compliance, and engagement best practices.
- Manage team resources, budgets, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective, high-impact results.

Basic Qualifications :
Must be a U.S citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearanceMust have the ability to travel (domestic only)Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing teams and complex projects across multiple sites.Extensive experience planning and executing executive-level engagements and high-profile events.Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior leaders and stakeholders.Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and verbal / written communication skills.Deep understanding of protocol, ceremonial standards, and customer engagement strategies.Experience with budget management, vendor negotiation, and logistical planning.Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and event / project management platforms.Desired Skills :
Certified Protocol Officer or equivalent training in protocol and diplomacy.Experience working with U.S. and international government and military leaders.Understanding of Lockheed Martin's customer base, technologies, and business operations.Experience standardizing processes and building scalable operating models.Secret security clearancePrevious experience in a communications, protocol, business development, or military liaison role is strongly preferred.This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level : Secret.
