General Superintendent

Miller Bros. Const., Inc., is a heavy-civil contractor specializing in earthmoving, utility installation and structure development for public roadway, industrial and commercial clients.

Position : Underground General Superintendent (UGS) for Central Ohio

Report to : Area Manager

Overview :

The Underground General Superintendent (UGS) is responsible for multiple underground projects. He is to work closely with the Area Manager and Safety Manager. He is directly responsible to supervise Superintendents / Foremen and their resources on the project. Primary responsibilities include :

• Safety (i.e. : meet or exceed OSHA Standards)
• Quality (i.e. : meet or exceed plan & specification requirements)
• Schedule (i.e. : meet or gain project schedule days)
• Budget (i.e. : meet or gain on estimated cost to perform work)
• Employee Relations (i.e. : EEO, training)

Perform all duties consistent with the Company’s core values. Maintain a positive attitude and good working relationships with customers, employees, and the public.

Annual Performance Review :

An annual performance review will be held each year with Area Manager. Performance will be measured based on the criteria outlined above.
