Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based ICU and float as needed to the MS / Tele unit Flex pool assignment with exposure to both critically ill and med-surg / tele patients ICU patient ratio is typically 1 : 1 or 1 : 2; MS / Tele unit ratio is 1 : 4 or 1 : 5 Night shift schedule with options for 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts from 7PM-7AM Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Uses Cerner charting system Standard med-surg / telemetry equipment and Liko lifts in most patient rooms Short-term acute care hospital with teaching environment and Level IV trauma designation Free parking available Main responsibilities include providing critical care in the ICU and support for MS / Tele patients as assigned Adherence to quality and patient safety protocols, including barcoded medication administration (BCMA), is expected Navy blue scrubs required First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted All time-off requests require unit manager approval Requirements Active, unrestricted AZ or compact RN license; pending license accepted for consideration Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with ICU or strong MS / Tele background preferred Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must be open to floating between ICU and MS / Tele units Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624602.
