Radiology Technologist – Needham, MA
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team in Needham, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures with a strong focus on patient safety, clear communication, and accurate use of imaging equipment . You will support patients and families throughout the imaging process, maintain equipment, ensure compliance with hospital standards, and participate in continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate imaging requisitions to confirm appropriateness.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring proper patient identification and safety.
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, explaining exams clearly and practicing ALARA principles for radiation safety.
- Identify, report, and assist with equipment malfunctions to maintain reliable functionality.
- Help organize and maintain daily departmental operations.
- Complete accurate documentation, comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards, and actively participate in departmental meetings.
- Pursue ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance skills.
