We are Custom Wire Technologies a leader in OEM medical component manufacturer, with over 50 years of industry experience using the latest technology. Our team is looking for a self-starter who works well with autonomy and can adapt to changing priorities and enjoys a dynamic work environment to fill the position of Manufacturing Engineer

What You\'ll Do

As a Manufacturing Engineer , you\'ll work under the direction of the Director of Operations to design and build custom automated manufacturing equipment to support fabrication of medical components throughout the company.

  • Complete modeling of assemblies, machinery and mechanisms.
  • Create detailed designs and drawings for fabrication.
  • Design & develop custom fixturing & tooling.
  • Assemble and support custom automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform & validate manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, fixtures, ensuring compliance with quality system.
  • Collaborate on cross functional teams to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
  • Assist in performing equipment preventive maintenance and repair duties as necessary.
  • Regular physical attendance at our Port Washington, WI facility is required.

What We\'re Looking For

  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or related field preferred), or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience in electromechanical system design / build, manufacturing, automation or related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Solidworks preferred)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • At this time, we are not considering candidates that need any type of immigration sponsorship now or in the future to work in the United States.
