Full-Time Variable Shift Patient Care Techs Needed

This position will function as both a Patient Care Tech (PCT) and Telemetry Technician. A Patient Care Tech functions as a clinical support partner assisting the patient care team by performing various tasks and procedures as instructed by a licensed professional. The Telemetry Technician, under the direction of the Registered Nurse is responsible for facilitating the telemetry monitoring of patients on a shift-to-shift basis. Cardiovascular-Thoracic Unit

We are a 27 bed unit. We care for patients coming from the PACU, Cath Lab, ICU and ER. Patient types we care for are STEMI's, Heart Failure, Post Open Heart, TAVR's, Carotids and all things Rhythm Related. We overflow for the ICU and therefore have a wide variety of patient acuities. As a PCT on CVTU you will also be trained as a telemetry tech and have the opportunity to work in the Northern Tele Hub where we monitor patients from 5 different hospitals. The unit can be locked 24 / 7 when necessary for patient and staff safety.

• Additional Details : Shift differentials are given for evenings, nights, and weekends.
