Strategic Product Specialist
About the Role : The Strategic Product Specialist is the key product person covering Securities Finance (SF) and ETF & Benchmarking Solutions (EBS) product groups with primary focus on client needs. These products are used by institutional investors, buyside, and sellside market professionals. Our data and services allow users to optimize their trading performance / efficiency, enhance investment decisions, undertake quantitative & academic research, and market benchmarking.
Responsibilities and Impact : The Strategic Product Specialist is responsible for maintaining an in-depth understanding of the company's products, including their capabilities, limitations, and future development roadmaps. The role also involves understanding the landscape of competing products and staying ahead of them. Additionally, the SPS must engage with existing clients on market events & news, research, assist on technical product requirements and enhancements, and identify and advocate for new commercial opportunities based on client interest. The SPS collaborates with Sales and Product Management teams, ensuring alignment in strategy and service delivery.
Compensation / Benefits Information (US Applicants Only) : S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
What We're Looking For : The candidate should have the following qualities and competencies : proven experience of at least 2-5 years in Securities Finance or delta one products environment, fluent English, ability to think critically and solve complex problems, convey intricate market / product concepts clearly, business quality written correspondence, and proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft tools.
