By 1983, it had significantly expanded its production capabilities. Over the years, our client has enhanced its offerings in perforated metal, rail safety, and other metal stamped / fabricated products. Our client remains a leading provider of expanded metal, perforated metal, and safety grating solutions for a variety of industries and is looking to improve their Quality Team!

Job Description

Quality Assurance & Control

• Maintain and improve the quality management system, including documentation for procedures, audits, controls, corrective actions, and equipment calibration.
• Create and revise standard operating procedures to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
• Perform internal quality audits, record findings, and follow up on necessary corrective actions.
• Investigate internal quality issues and customer complaints through root cause analysis and recommend effective solutions.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans to address quality concerns in manufacturing processes and customer feedback.
• Track and report quality metrics, corrective action statuses, and trends to management.
• Inspect incoming materials and finished components to verify compliance with blueprint specifications.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions.
• Work closely with external suppliers and internal purchasing teams to resolve material quality concerns and ensure vendor compliance with quality standards.
