Opportunity available for the Summer of 2026 with the AES Indiana Substation Engineering team. This position will provide engineering experience related to substation design and system protection.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff engineers on substation engineering analysis and design
• Support system protection and substation infrastructure tasks
• Assist in the design of substation facilities
• Contribute to relay protection planning for AES Indiana transmission and distribution systems
• Work on assigned projects that provide hands-on engineering experience
• Help staff engineers with their ongoing substation projects

Qualifications

A student pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering.

The student may be expected to complete additional assignments as determined by their supervisor.
