What you will do
- Champion safety and quality in every task and maintain a neat, organized workspace.
- Work collaboratively and interact professionally with teammates and customers.
- Interpret drawings, sketches, verbal instructions, and specifications to execute repairs.
- Use appropriate equipment, procedures, and documentation to complete assignments.
- Develop and apply repair techniques for rotors, turbines, disc / blade holders, shafts, sleeves, gears, couplings, and more.
- Set up tooling and equipment required to complete jobs accurately.
- Measure and record critical dimensions using proper metrology tools; successfully complete the annual dimensional inspection test.
- Understand inspection reports, collaborate with customer witnesses, and process turbomachinery documentation (inspection reports, photo logs, hold tags).
- Apply knowledge of lifting and rigging; operate cranes and forklifts safely.
- Document actions and irregularities to ensure smooth handoffs between shifts.
- Take ownership of your results and stay current with evolving techniques.
What you need
High School Diploma or equivalent.3–5 years of rotating turbomachinery experience.Rigging proficiency and familiarity with crane / forklift operations.Demonstrated measuring capabilities and meticulous recordkeeping.Background with turbines, compressors, and similar rotating equipment.Rotor-specific knowledge (axial measurements, outside diameters, radial runouts) is a plus.Mechanical troubleshooting skills.How you’ll work
