Part-Time Driver Foundations Learning Academy

Job Summary :

Foundations Learning Academy is seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Part-Time Driver to transport children safely to and from our center and on field trips. This role ensures a secure and positive transportation experience while maintaining vehicle cleanliness, safety protocols, and accurate records.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Safely transport children while following all safety procedures.
  • Ensure children are properly secured in age-appropriate restraints.
  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain cleanliness and report any maintenance needs.
  • Follow established routes and schedules while ensuring timely arrivals.
  • Conduct routine bus evacuation drills and emergency procedures.

    • Requirements :

  • Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record (last 3 years).
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days) .
  • Ability to pass background checks.
  • Physical ability to assist children and handle emergency situations.
  • Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff Certificate within 90 days of employment
