Overview

Senture is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented writer to join our Business Development proposal team. This fully remote position requires advanced writing, research, and organizational skills, along with a strong ability to work independently and continuously improve written content. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, self-starter, and reliable professional with excellent attendance, who thrives in fast-paced environments and remains composed under pressure.

We’re looking for someone who understands the urgency and responsiveness required in business development activities and can confidently manage shifting priorities and take on a variety of assignments throughout the day. The ability to maintain professionalism during periods of high workload—including occasional extended hours during proposal cycles—is essential. This role also requires the ability to work closely and collaboratively with a manager, take direction constructively, and respond positively to feedback with a commitment to improving the quality and clarity of their work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience writing Federal / SLED government proposals.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including formatting tools, templates, and document automation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sense of ownership in delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to self-review and refine writing for clarity, tone, and impact.
• Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently to meet deadlines and drive progress.
• Quick learner with a proactive mindset and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Reliable with a strong record of attendance and accountability.
• Calm and focused under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines without becoming overwhelmed.
• Willingness to work extended hours during critical proposal phases when needed.
• Comfortable receiving candid feedback and using it constructively to improve performance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
• Basic understanding of call center operations.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as Cloud, AI Assistants, Bots, and Conversational AI.
• Curious and eager to learn about new technologies and business solutions.
