We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Bindery Operator for one or more of the following machines : Perfect Binder, Stitcher, Folder, Cutter. You’ll be part of a talented group that collaborates to deliver world-class products to our customers. This role will handle small format products that require bindery work before they are packed and shipped to the client.
Shifts available : Sunday - Tuesday or Wednesday - Friday 6 : 00 pm - 6 : 00 am (36-hour work week consisting of three 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule that changes every 4 months. Position is overtime eligible.)

a high school diploma or GEDa two-year Technical or Trade School diplomathree years’ experience as a bindery operator, cutter, folder or booklet makerworked in a manufacturing environment for 2-5 yearsworked in a fast-paced mid-size companythe ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basisOn top of that you must :
possess a thorough and organized approach to your workpay close attention to details on every projecthave basic computer skills, including Pace and Google Suitebe self-motivated, a fast learner, and show initiative to seek out customer and corporate needsplan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your workcomplete projects accurately within deadlines, while meeting Company quality standardsapply effective time management and self-management skillsunderstand and maintain the confidential nature of the company, employee and customer informationbe flexible to changeIn this position you'll :
complete the job successfully and provide a quality product the customer will want to order againrun the bindery equipment in a small format capacityrun existing bindery equipment and be open to learning how to run new equipmenttroubleshoot production problems to ensure productivity and quality standards are metperform Quality Control (QC) procedures to meet Company standardsperform basic maintenance of the bindery machinescomplete miscellaneous projects and various tasks as requested by managementTo get hired at The Bernard Group, you MUST be :
