Purpose and Scope
Under limited supervision, the Information Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for students, visitors, and callers. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, providing accurate campus information, and supporting administrative functions that enhance student and guest experiences which require an extensive knowledge of campus activities.

Must have the ability to read and write at a level appropriate to the duties of the position; to follow oral and written directions; to understand and follow safety procedures; to operate and use standard office equipment.
Working Conditions
Physical Demand and Working Conditions :
Work is sedentary in nature and at times requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or a consistent amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Work is performed during normal business hours, with evenings and weekends.
